Singapore Brain Modulation Symposium & 4th NUS Academic Psychiatry Meeting 2017

We warmly invite you to the Singapore The Singapore Brain Modulation Symposium is an inaugural event that brings together international and local experts to discuss and exchange ideas on neuromodulation. Topics on electroconvulsive therapy, transcranial magnetic stimulation, transcranial direct current stimulation, deep brain stimulation and neurofeedback will be covered for a wide range of psychiatric illnesses. This symposium is hosted by the Department of Psychological Medicine, National University of Singapore and supported by the College of Psychiatrists and Singapore Psychiatric Association. This event will be held on 2 November 2017 at Tower Block Auditorium, National University Health System.

Theme: Advances in Therapeutic Neuromodulation

Program: One full-day of plenary lectures and oral presentations

Aims:

  1. To raise awareness of modern brain modulation techniques for both the public and local healthcare professionals
  2. To enhance psychiatric services for patients
  3. To strengthen ties among brain modulation practitioners/researchers both locally and internationally; to develop a collaborative network for research, education and clinical practice
